Music Ministry

Duties & Responsibilities:
1.) Must be willing to extend assistance & support to the Chaircouple & working staff prior to & durimg 2 days PREX seminar & to the incoming activities & Projects of PREX
2.) Must attend the ff:
a. 2 days PREX seminar (every 1st Saturday & Sunday of the month) being an Overseer of physical Arr. Committee & esp. To the most Imp’t part- WELCOME.
b. New Prex graduates reunion & 1st workshop ( every 2nd Sunday 10:00 AM/ Elysian Chapel ). It’s your turn to explain to the new working staff the duties & importance of Physical Arr. Comm.
c. PREX Monthly meeting ( every 4th Sunday of the month, 1:00 pm/ Elysian Chapel ).
d. PREX Monthly Vigil/ Holy Hour ( every 1st Friday of the month, 6:00pm/OLFQP, Heritage Homes),This is our support to the incoming LC.

Duties of Music Ministry: ( Working Stafff )
( The comm. That make the 2 day seminar alive! )
1. Check the availability of all song charts to be used before the seminar starts.
2. Demonstrate & leads the staff & participants in singing during the seminar.
3. Sets the mood of the participants with praising & meditation song during Confessions & Confirmation ceremonies, Palancas & the Burning of Covenant. If Possible, “Solemnity”, be observe here esp. During Reconciliation & Reconfirmation ceremony, no loud microphones, no shouting, mellow & soft voice only should be heard. Song selections for these ceremonies should be properly chosen.
4. Always be ready in setting up of song charts & removal of the same after use.
5. Alert & aware of schedule at all times to avoid being called by LC when needed in the seminar FULL TIME.
6. Knows the relevance of each action songs to the talk so that singing of inappropriate songs may be avoided.
7. See to it that in between Talks no more than two (2) song will be sung. Be time consious.
8. Aware of the need of each Speaker, what & when song will be sung or when accompaniment is necessary.
9. Coordinates with the LC/ALC on any problem of the ministry & suggest solutions.
10. Observes proper dress code. Remember: you’ll always be leading & seen in front.
